Guided Kayak Fishing Trips
North County & La Jolla
Take a conventional or fly fishing kayak trip with guide, Morgan Promnitz, and explore our coastal waters. From calico bass, sand bass, bonito, barracuda, halibut and lingcod to larger species like yellowtail, white seabass and thresher sharks, our waters are full of sea life.
Learn kayak safety for launching in and out of the surf, as well as setup and techniques for making the most of your time on the water. The kayak and all fishing gear are provided, and a fishing license can be purchased for an additional fee. Safety equipment such as VHF Radio, cell phone, spare paddles and life preservers will be on hand at all times.
San Diego Bay & Mission Bay
San Diego and Mission Bay offer loads of species too, with spotted bay bass, sand bass, corvina, halibut, bonito, bonefish and croaker topping the list. When conditions are right, action in the bays is incredible on fly or light tackle. The calm water, scenery and easy access make fishing the bays a relaxing experience.
The one-day trips range from six to eight hours and are priced as follows:
